Kelley Sadr joined the CALO team in August of 2023 as the new Adventure Manager after multiple years in the animal welfare field. She was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, but would visit the Lake of the Ozarks almost every summer when she was younger. Kelley finally moved to the Lake in 2022.
Kelley graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Animal Ecology with an emphasis in Pre-Vet and Wildlife Care. She has worked in various animal shelters, zoos, and wildlife sanctuaries. Kelley worked as a Naturalist after college, and this sparked her joy and passion to teach others about the therapeutic benefits of the great outdoors. Her enthusiasm, empathy, and kindness helps students build trusting relationships and an excitement for the activities her department offers. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling with her husband, and sitting in her hammock with a good book.
