Betty started at CALO in July of 2023. Before that, she worked in a different residential treatment facility for 8 years, and was an elementary teacher before that. 

Her hobbies are hiking and painting. She will have her Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University in May of 2024. 

Betty has two grown daughters, 36 and 30, and one son who is 20 that she adopted when he was 15.

The core value that Betty identifies with the most is empathy.
