Jill Hollandsworth is a “boomerang” staff who wore different hats in the residential and clinical fields. Jill left to continue her education at National University and returned in her new role as Teen Boys Therapist. Jill is a United States Air Force veteran and the main reason for choosing her specialty with her degree; to end the stigma of seeking help and assist in a better quality of life for those who have served. Jill has since worked in the mental health field and spent time caring for others with substance use disorders, ASD, and other mental health diagnoses. Jill has always been drawn to the field of therapy and by using the “family systems lens,” Jill was determined to change the outlook on how therapy CAN be beneficial when the system is looked at as “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. Jill chose to promote her mission in creating joy and heal generations by coming back to CALO to continue the work toward bettering the children and families.
